Oggetti cageani da collezione e nuovi libri

| 2 commenti

Il secondo è Diary: how to improve the world (you will only make matters worse), pubblicato da Siglio. Buona lettura!

It has been recently opened in the John Cage Trust site a DONATION page where some collector’s items (booklets, catalogues, recordings, etc) can be purchased. A way to support the Trust as well as own a rarity.

I’d also like to recommend two new Cage related volumes, though available in English only.
First one is The selected letters of John Cage published by Wesleyan University Press and patiently assembled by Laura Kuhn, director of the John Cage Trust. The book offers an intimate view of the composer’s life, from his early trips to Europe in the 30’s to his latest years.
The second one is Diary: how to improve the world (you will only make matters worse), published by Siglio. Finally the various section of Cage’s Diary, scattered throughout various volumes are available altogether in a single installment. The volume adds a colorful and typographical nuance to the original text, naturally dictated by chance operations as the authors explain. Enjoy the read!
